THE COMPLETE SOUNDTRACK ARCHIVE
The music of Hot Chocolate now has a home of its own. The new soundtrack archive brings together 77 pieces from across the campaign, turning music that once lived only inside individual missions into a collection that can be explored from beginning to end. Stage themes, boss encounters, introductions, location pieces, and alternate vocal and instrumental arrangements are all represented, preserving the emotional path of the crew's journey as carefully as the battles themselves.
SEVEN WORLDS, SEVENTY-SEVEN TRACKS
The archive is divided into seven campaign collections: Earth III, The Kharaxi Conflict, Iskara, The Machine Core, Cosmic Distortion, Veridian, and The Veil. Together they follow the score from the first defense of Earth III into unfamiliar systems, broken civilizations, impossible machinery, and the living sanctuary beneath Veridian. Each collection keeps its tracks connected to the world, stage, or encounter that inspired them, making the player both a listening room and a musical record of the campaign.
Earth III opens the archive with the urgency of a home under attack. The Kharaxi Conflict and Iskara push the score into the uncertainty of a widening war. The Machine Core surrounds the crew with the scale and cold purpose of a planet-sized machine. Cosmic Distortion bends that momentum into stranger and less predictable territory. Veridian carries the grief of a world transformed into a graveyard, while The Veil descends beneath that devastation and finds fragile life still worth protecting.
A PLAYER BUILT FOR THE ARCHIVE
The music page includes a searchable track list, collection artwork, full-album playback, a persistent queue, previous and next controls, seeking, volume, shuffle, and repeat. Search reaches across song titles, artists, worlds, and collection descriptions, so a remembered location or chapter can lead back to its music even when the exact title is forgotten. Selecting a collection narrows the list to that chapter and prepares its songs as the active queue.
The interface has also been simplified. Redundant Tracks and Albums tabs above the song list have been removed because they did not change the contents of the browser. The complete track list remains immediately available, while the dedicated Albums and Worlds section below it continues to provide direct access to every campaign collection.
STREAMING DESIGNED TO KEEP PLAYING
Every soundtrack entry has been prepared as segmented HLS audio, producing 77 playlists and more than 2,600 optimized media segments. This format allows playback to begin without downloading an entire source file, supports responsive seeking, and gives the player smaller pieces to recover when a connection briefly becomes unstable.
Released environments prefer protected streams delivered through the private content network. If that route cannot complete playback, an automatic fallback retries through the protected application stream instead of simply abandoning the song. Local development uses the application-hosted source directly, keeping testing independent from the production delivery path.
PREMIUM ACCESS WITHOUT MUSIC PROFILES
The complete archive is part of the premium Hot Chocolate experience. Playback requests revalidate access before a protected stream is issued, and raw audio locations are not embedded in the page catalog. At the same time, the music player does not create a favorites profile or store listening preferences in the game database. Queue order, volume, and the last selected track remain lightweight browser-local conveniences.
Every world left a sound behind. Now the whole journey can be heard together.
