August 17, 2026 Cockpit and Solaris Update
Campaign selection moves inside the cockpit, while Solaris gains independently managed twin beams and readable sustained-fire heat.
Campaign Cockpit
- Replaced the campaign-map presentation with a cockpit view from between the pilot seats, using blue holographic panels for the selected level and mission details.
- Campaign media changes with progression while locked future destinations remain inaccessible, keeping navigation inside the ship rather than a disconnected menu.
- Static imagery remains available when background media cannot be used.
Solaris Dual Lasers
- Solaris now carries a second continuous laser. Primary and secondary beams fire from separate positions and are controlled independently.
- Each beam tracks its own charge and heat in the HUD. Sustained fire builds heat, releasing the trigger cools from the remaining state, and overuse forces a short recovery.
- Beam color moves from blue through orange to red to make heat readable at a glance.
Beam Interactions
- Solaris beams now correctly interact with enemy missiles, Level 2 crystal shards, reflectors, wormholes, void bombs, and gravity effects.
