A Wider Window Into Hot Chocolate
The full game and demo now fill the available screen in menus and gameplay, with responsive world sizing, sharper high-density rendering, and accurate controls after resizing.
More Room to Play
- The game and demo now use an edge-to-edge viewport in menus and gameplay. The old centered 16:9 frame and its surrounding border no longer limit the playable presentation.
- Wider displays reveal more space horizontally; taller displays reveal more vertically. The world adapts to the screen's shape instead of stretching ships, scenery, and menus to fit.
- The canvas also accounts for your screen's pixel density, keeping the image appropriately scaled on high-density displays. This happens automatically and does not add a new resolution setting.
Resizing Without Losing Your Place
- Mouse and pointer positions now follow the expanded play area, so aiming and menu interaction line up with what you see.
- When the browser window changes size or orientation, the map keeps its current progress and the pilot remains within the playable bounds.
- The old F11 fullscreen prompt has been removed because the game already fills its available window. You can still choose your browser's fullscreen mode if you want it.
