The Red Signal Inside the Hull
A Red Possessed Soul pulses through machinery with the rhythm of an injured heart. Crimson strands enter conduits and structural seams, ember nodes flare under stress, and nearby metal bends toward the field. Several distressed faces surface within one unstable humanoid outline. The image is frightening because it records people under pressure, not because the entity is demonic.
A Weapon That Is Also a Prisoner
Once fused into a ship, the consciousness can aim weapons and strain the hull while remaining unable to choose either action. Destroying the vessel may stop the attack but also erase whatever person survives inside it. That conflict turns a familiar enemy pattern into the campaign's central moral problem: survival can demand force even after Carter understands who is being forced to fight.
