The Fracture Opens
The battle within the Machine Core tears open a distortion across space. Carter is dragged through regions where living growth, ruined construction, gravity, and the remains of impossible organisms overlap. The route is not random scenery: each stage pushes the same fracture toward a more hostile expression until the dead Leviathans and the void network become inseparable.
Stages I-II - Living Galaxy and Wormhole Expanse
The Living Galaxy suspends green luminous roots, small organisms, and overgrown asteroids in a purple-blue star field. Wormhole Expanse replaces organic continuity with fractured structures and paired cyan apertures that redirect movement and fire. The Root Crown Colossus and Wormhole Siege Engine turn those environmental ideas into the first two major encounters.
Stages III-IV - Gravity Reef and Leviathan Graveyard
Gravity Reef is built from curved fields of rock, suspended debris, and blue-violet crystalline growth under visible distortion. Leviathan Graveyard darkens that palette around enormous rib cages, skull-like remains, and violet nodes. The Gravity Reef Sovereign controls the unstable crossing; the Void Leviathan Nexus joins the final remains to the fracture itself.
