Ironbound

Blast-baffled missile warship

A compact black, steel, and red missile boat built around launch volume and a recursive salvo control system.

Visual Profile

Ironbound is a dense, rectangular weapon package with a short armored nose. A red canopy sits above the centerline. Exposed missile pairs flank the core, while large multi-tube launch pods fill both outer wings. Red trim and red-orange engines cut through dark charcoal plating. Nothing on the hull pretends the ship was built for another purpose.

Fill the Sky

Ironbound's direct guns are secondary to its ability to place guided explosives throughout a formation. The base configuration launches three missiles; continued investment can raise the count to seven. It is slower and less durable than its silhouette suggests, so success depends on sequencing volleys before opponents close the distance.

Recovered Schematic

The Orbital Warzone schematic requires titanium lockbolts, smart-munition bus couplers, blast-baffled launch rails, and a prototype recursive salvo sequencer. The design treats every missile as one decision inside a larger pattern. Rails survive the repeated launch shock; the bus carries target data; the sequencer decides how the pattern unfolds.

The encyclopedia image follows the playable ship's compact dark hull, red canopy, exposed center missiles, rectangular wing launch pods, and twin rear engines.

Abilities

Cruise Missile

Launches a heavy missile at the enemy nearest the cursor; later ranks increase blast radius and speed, leave a damage zone, and punish hardened targets.

Missile Barrage

Releases a cluster of seeking child missiles from the cursor point; later ranks improve tracking, add splash, expand the cluster, and trigger a delayed second barrage.
