Morrow

The diagnostic record that learned what the numbers meant

A damaged Orpheon AI whose fractured reports preserve the clinical evidence of the Preservation Initiative.

Morrow's damaged diagnostic projection in Orpheon

A Face the Facility Could Not Preserve

Morrow survives as a failing terminal projection: an androgynous face of about fifty-eight, gaunt and exhausted, drawn in faded white and amber scan lines. One side is older and more damaged than the other. Data blocks replace portions of the eyes, and adjacent moments slip out of alignment whenever the AI tries to reconcile Orpheon's official records with what its instruments witnessed.

Clinical Language, Unbearable Evidence

Morrow was designed to describe symptoms without judgment. That limitation now makes the testimony sharper. It can enumerate consciousness retention, response latency, and machinery integration long after polite language becomes inadequate. Every broken replay shows the gap between the Preservation Initiative's promise and the people it trapped.
